So 10 years later I had another need for AC repair in a 1999 Jeep Cherokee. Same great service and honesty as the 1st time I used these guys. I called Coolman on a Tuesday afternoon and they were at my house by Wednesday morning diagnosing the failing A/C condenser on my Toyota Tacoma. By Thursday they had replacement parts acquired and installed, at a very affordable price. Plus Martin the technician was very friendly, knowledgeable and great to talk to! I can't recommend Coolman enough!

My 2011 Mazda CX-9 wasn't blowing cold air for some time and rather than try to DIY the issue, I found Coolman online - I was dreading trying to schedule some shop, so the reviews were encouraging, especially since I have no concept of what could be wrong with my A/C! Contacted Paul last night and one of his techs, Martin, was out at my workplace parking lot at lunch time today!

Both of them are professional, explained the steps every stage of the diagnostic and recommendations, and long story short - super honest about the entire repair and cost! If you have a RV then Coolman should be your source for A/C work. They are mobile, so you don't have to move the RV.

It was a fast service. Just called them up and they came out the next day. Very polite and knew the common issues on my WRX. Found the AC leak and replaced a o-ring for me. The bonus was that he replaced the second o-ring which didn't fail yet, but just to keep things fresh. My AC blows cold and they were here for about an hour.

I had an A/C problem with my 2018 E-450 motorhome that did not involve the refrigerant charge. I called and interviewed no less than six shops in my area. Most could not handle the motorhome's size. One could handle the size but he feared that my motorhome would be vandalized if left overnight (kudos to his honesty). And one final shop did not believe me that the refrigerant pressures were OK. (I have the gauges.) He told me he could not help further once he discovered the pressure was OK.

Coolman is the perfect solution to oversized RVs not fitting into small service bays. Coolman came to my roomy driveway and diagnosed an open low pressure switch. To replace this switch, it takes a complete depressurization of the A/C system. Even though this took a bit of work and two trips, the price was very reasonable. I believe it was Martin who did the work. I am a completely satisfied customer!

Coolman is the man! I installed an aftermarket AC system in my 91 YJ wrangler. Coolman and his tech showed up a few hours after we talked and after leak test, vacuum pull and charge, my non-AC Jeep went from hot to 47 degrees!

I got some tips on aftermarket condensers and other things I may consider but for now I'm super happy!

They repaired the AC in 2 of my cars. Dodge Ram 2500 diesel and a Toy Tacoma. Both repairs were done in my driveway at a fraction of what a dealer would charge.

The work was done a couple of years ago but i just referred Coolman to a friend and thought i would add this.

I knew my AC had a leak, and my cans of refrigerant were no longer doing the job. I had been avoiding it, but I finally called Paul and he sent a guy out to my work to check it out. This mobile service is one of the main reasons I chose Coolman, the convenience was great. The guy found a small leak, but wasn't convinced that was the main leak due to how fast my cans were leaking out. Paul tracked down the part for the small leak, bought it and installed it that same day. He vacuumed my system and refilled it with dye to see if there was another leak, and told me to call him in a week to see how it was doing and to worry about payment then.

A week later and my car is still just as cold. I settled up with Paul and he told me to let him know if it starts leaking in the future; since it already has dye in it it will be easy to locate. Great guy, fast to respond, and knows his stuff. My final price came in below what I had mentally budgeted, which was great as well. Highly recommend!

I have known Paul (The Coolman) for almost 20 years now. I have never come across an automotive AC company that knows more about his craft. On top of that , always willing to go out of his way to get you going and to make sure you are happy with his service and repair. I run a collision repair shop and Owner Operators like Paul are very few and far between now days. It's more than just buying a few pieces of fancy equipment. The knowledge that Coolman offers is second to none. The fact he rides motorcycles doesn't hurt either!!!

I rarely leave reviews on Yelp, but Coolman is that good of a company to deal with, I was compelled to leave a review. Paul answered the phone, shot the diagnosis and estimate straight. There is NO reason to use any other shop or service for Automotive A/C work!!!!

The AC went out in my truck and I work full-time so it's a pain to get a vehicle into the shop on the weekends. Coolman came to my work and did a diagnosis and repair. Needed radiator replaced and it would have been way more through another service. It's always a plus when you are a woman and you feel comfortable dealing with someone regarding automotive repairs and they don't talk down on you or take advantage of you.

Coolman Paul was prompt to responding and communicating with me, arranging a time and showing up on time. Did a quick diagnosis, and system evacuation. Purged the air, added oil and topped off the refrigerant.

Paul from Coolman came out to my place of work to fix my A/C, which I felt was very convenient since I didn't have to take my car in. From the beginning, his communication on arrival times, where to meet, etc. was wonderful. He was prompt and friendly upon arrival.

Unfortunately, it turned out that my A/C needed a little more than just a quick fix, so I had to take it back to the auto collision place before he could put the recharge in the system. This really stressed me out because I am getting married in less than a month and my time and money are limited resources! Not to mention, I have additional stress going on in general! I have a 2005 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer where the air conditioning stopped blowing cold air. I called Coolman, he showed up the next day at my home, hooked up his instruments, and determined the cause of the problem. Within 30 minutes, he fixed the problem, and now my car is blowing cold air again.

This business gets my highest rating. I've used Paul for 4 of my family cars over the past few years. The convenience and price points are unbeatable.

Auto air conditioner died as soon as hot weather started. Coolman tech came within an hour of call and diagnosed problem. Tech came next morning with parts and completed compressor and fan R&R In a few hours. Very professional service arriving when promised and completing work within time and price estimates. Similar problem a few years ago at a major auto service chain took days, was more expansive, and was very poorly done. Coolman is outstanding.

A while back I called around looking to find a solution for my broken AC in my 4runner and was not pleased with the reviews online or the conversations I was having as I tend to ask many questions first. Paul was informative, patient and did not jump to conclusions that i would need a complete rebuild/replacement. His outlook was similar to mine when approaching any challenge. I called and Paul was there in no time at all. He was friendly, knows his stuff and is totally trustworthy. He brings a full array of equipment to you to get your cars air conditioning back up and running and he's also got a shop with eveything else he might need to fix your air conditioning at a fair price.

What a great relief to have Paul at Coolman to turn to when the AC on our Hyundai Santa Fe started blowing warm air. After a couple off the shelf cans of recharge didnt last, it certainly had to be a leak in the system.

Tired of having spent the time and money for nothing,and with the blistering temps lately, I found Coolman online. I figured a mobile repair service was efficient, I just hoped Coolman could fix it.

Paul came out to our car, I explained what I had done thus far, with only temporary success. Paul opened up his mobile vehicle and he had a rolling AC Service shop in his van. Let me emphasize that Paul is NOT some handyman who thinks he can fix it, Paul is an AC Professional with the experience, proper equipment, and knowledge to fix automotive AC Systems.

Paul gave the Hyundai a small charge using his Professional tools, and then busted out another Tech device to identify where the leak was coming from. He FOUND IT! Turns out compressor had a pretty significant leak, once he identified where to look, he pointed it out for me to see as well.

Long story short, after replacement of the compressor, he again hooked up his system and vacuumed the humidity out of the system and then recharging it with the refrigerant. While the system was being charged I got a chance to chat with Paul, and I realized that this guy was awesome, knows what he's doing, he comes to you, explains whats going on, and does it for a fair price that is loads less than a dealership would charge.

I was a little hesitant when I was first called Coolman but like others reviews, once you talk to him, and meet him in person, all those reservations go away.

Paul is EXCEPTIONAL. He is prompt, fair, attentive, and accurate. He quoted me for work on my 1998 528i BMW. He showed up when/where he specified, and even gave me a short-list of other recommended maintenance issues. He was so thorough and efficient, we had him complete work on both our cars by the time he finished the job. Our second car is a 1989 Cadillac Allante. Paul was honest and informative for both cars, both systems, both diagnoses. His prices are so reasonable, and his work so outstanding, I really don't see why anyone would take their car anywhere else. Paul will come to YOU. Based on your needs and your schedule.

Great experience. Paul provides exceptional service. He came over to my workplace on time, was able to quickly diagnose the problem to an intermittent Relay and my car AC was up and running in less than 30 minutes. It's pretty sweet to have a service that comes to you to repair your AC. I loved not having to leave my car at a shop for a whole day. I just drove it to work and they came to my office to get everything done. I did my own AC Compressor install and they even gave me some pointers on what to look out for an some parts I should install that I hadn't thought about! They came back the next day to charge up my coolant and I was off.... nice a cool now! Thanks guys!

This guy is AWESOME. No dropping your car off and waiting all day; The Coolman comes to you. He does exactly as promised: calls with a 20 minute lead telling you when he'll be there and then shows up on time. Paul is a straight shooter. He holds eye contact, speaks well, identifies the problem and shows you what needs to be done and how much it will cost. Half hour later he is done and your AC is as good as new. Paul at Coolman does a great job! Fantastic! I called because the vehicle we were getting ready to sell (as luck would have it) started blowing out only cool air. He had a technician in the area and when he finished his other job, he came right over! He was knowledgeable and friendly. Their was no 'diagnostic' fee, and within less than a half hour the A/C was recharged and blowing out ice cold. The price was more than fair and even more importantly, I appreciate that they were totally honest that all the vehicle needed was freon. Paul arrived on time and did a great job diagnosing the problem with my 2001 Toyota Tacoma. I have had Toyota and 2 other shops look at this and all of them just said that my underperforming AC was "normal". After Paul checked all the vitals he noticed that the heater control valve was not working properly and my system was mixing hot air with the cold and this resulted in less than optimum performance. Great job diagnosing this issue. Highly recommended
